The Proposition/Solution Marketer will have responsibility for one or more products in the company’s portfolio. Reporting to the SVP, the successful candidate will:

  • Develop new propositions, establish their business case, and take them to market in a LEAN manner
  • Develop and maintain the proposition catalog based on solutions invented in house, in the field and with customers
  • Create, communicate, and maintain the sales and customer facing collateral and pricing
  • Own competitive analysis and communication thereof
  • Own the creation and maintenance of the demonstration tools
  • Generate whitepapers and thought-leadership materials, with the technical team
  • Evangelize the propositions with the sales force and keep them up to date and trained on the product and proposition set
  • Maintain the customer database and customer business cases
  • Work with the Marketing team to manage the creation, presentation and availability of the sales toolkit of each new release through the go-to-market process
  • Support the Marketing team with trade-shows and campaigns

This role will involve interaction with all parts of the business but primarily Sales, Solutions, Marketing, and Product Architecture. Face-to-face time with customers and international travel is expected.

The role demands a background in proposition management, communication and collateral management. A blend of strong technical skills with an appreciation of how technical capabilities translate to business benefits for customers (problems that we solve, new revenue avenues, etc) and Evolving Systems is required. The role will suit an outgoing, big personality with experience in technical sales and proposition development.
