26-Feb-2007 - European Wireless Customer Extends Use of Evolving Systems' Tertio™ Solution Across Four Operating Companies

ENGLEWOOD, Colorado Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ-EVOL), a leading provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and IP carrier market, today announced that one of its major European wireless customers plans to extend the use of the Tertio™ Service Activation solution across four of its operating companies.

The company, a valued Evolving Systems customer for more than three years, plans to expand its use of the Tertio solution across its entire network as part of a wider strategic initiative. This decision will enable them to standardize all their service activation requirements onto a single provisioning platform. The first deployment will be a Greenfield carrier followed by three additional operating companies in four countries.

Evolving Systems' Tertio™ service activation solution enables operators to replace legacy and custom built service activation solutions with a solution that can be cheaper and easier to operate. The solution helps operators manage growth by reducing the time to activate services, decreasing the number of errors, and lowering the cost of operations. The Tertio solution, which supports Linux as well as various commercial UNIX products, offers operators a cost-effective and scalable choice of hardware architectures. It also provides graphical tools to enable rapid service modeling, service assembly and service integration to speed up service rollout and make it simpler for carriers to use their own staff to maintain and enhance the system.
