11-Oct-2006 - Major US Carrier Selects Evolving Systems LNP Solution

ENGLEWOOD, Colorado Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ-EVOL), a provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and IP carrier market, today announced that another large US carrier has selected Evolving Systems' NumberManager solution to support its Local Number Portability (LNP) needs.

The NumberManager solution provides the communications between regional-level Number Portability Administration Centers (NPACs) and a carrier's Network Element Management System (NEMS). It helps administer service changes, modifications and disconnects for Number Portability, providing a cost effective and more efficient way to manage Number Portability services. The customer chose NumberManager to replace its existing solution and will use the software to deliver provisioning to both cutting-edge network elements and legacy systems. The solution is expected to go live in mid-2007.
