08-Feb-2006 - O2 Germany selects Evolving Systems for Number Inventory Management

ENGLEWOOD, Colorado Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ-EVOL), a leading provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and IP carrier market, today announced that wireless provider, O2 Germany, a subsidiary of O2 plc, has selected its NumeriTrack™ solution for number inventory management.

The implementation of number portability and the introduction of new types of services, as well as continued growth in the number of subscribers, are putting pressure on carriers to better manage their number inventory. Number management systems need to be robust, reliable and flexible to support these additional demands.

As a real-time, carrier-grade number management solution NumeriTrackTM will help O2 Germany to manage its entire telephone number inventory, providing a single number repository for all types of numbers - mobile, fixed line and VoIP. The solution will enable O2 Germany to accurately allocate and administer individual numbers as well as blocks of numbers. In addition, it will allow them to track ported numbers, forecast future number requirements and provide full reporting capabilities on the status of all numbers.
