ENGLEWOOD, Colorado Evolving Systems, Inc. Independent analyst firm Yankee Group, in its Decision Note entitled "Service Activation Vendors Positioned for Growth in Emerging Markets," examined the service activation market size and growth, the features service providers want in a solution and analyzed the vendor landscape in this competitive market, assessed by revenues and product maturity.

According to the Yankee Group report, service activation is the customer-facing and service-aware aspect of provisioning, making specific elements of the network service ready.
